Character: Huang Zhong
Series: K.O.3an Guo
Character Age: 19
Canon: There are 12 dimensions within this world and in each dimension there is one version of every character. But the setting of this particular series happens in the Silver Dimension where no one knows how to multiply by nine. When the protagonists of the first part of this series come to sightsee within the Silver Dimension, they accidentally set off a dimension scarring incident that leaves an important character injured. This creates a problem because now the order of this dimension is set off balance; without this person, events cannot happen as they should. To fix this and keep the order of dimensions intact, they make his alternate counterpart from the Iron Dimension take his place and that's where this parody of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms starts.
Huang Zhong is one of the Five Tiger Generals of Dong Han Academy. He is somewhat silent, as well as incredibly loyal. His name Zhong means just that: Loyalty. He is also very friendly, but his joking side usually only comes out with people he’s close to. Despite that, he has an air of calmness to him and he's sincere, as well as honest to a fault, while always willing to help no matter what. And if you need someone to fight with you or protect you, he’s an excellent marksman and martial artist too. He was taught by the janitor at his orphanage and is known to never miss a target. He also believes strongly in his friends and in the good in everyone too. If you need someone to rely on, he’s your man.
Sample Application:
Tell us about yourself in a few words. Hello, my name is Huang Zhong and I'm 19 years old. My close friends call me Zhong most of the time. I'm from the Silver Dimension and I help my best friend Ma Chao with his surf shop back home. I'm really bad at math, but I've trained really hard and never miss a shot with my bow. If you need me to shoot an apple off of someone's head to save his life, you can count on me to do it. I won't disappoint or fail you.
Why are you joining our happy community? I got this letter from Elizabeth Sayre saying that our school was being rebuilt in camp. She heard of what happened to the old one back home and was nice enough to both fund and rebuild our academy to give us all a place to study and be together again. I'm really grateful to Ms. Sayre for this; she's truly touched my heart with this magnanimous gesture of hers. I hope I get to meet many new people here and make new friends too.
Do you think you are good in a crisis? Why? I've been told I have a cool head during a fight and I've fought in many battles so I have a lot of experience dealing with things like that. What I do is I try to see from all directions, tasting the wind to see where it goes and I make a calculated decision on when and where to strike. All martial artists do this in a way, it just depends on what your skills are centered around. I use the wind as my guide because even the slightest gust can change the direction of an arrow.
What if the crisis involved the end of the world? Please explain. Again? I mean, I've already been through that already. It was tough, but my friends and I were able to stop our dimension from becoming nothing by pooling together all our strengths and fighting together against our enemies for the greater good. We were able to do this because we believed in ourselves and each other.
Do you have any deep personal traumas you might inexplicably be compelled to share in this questionnaire? Please describe. I- I think it might have to be when I met my mom for the first time. Not that it was a bad thing, don't get me wrong. But I learned that she was sent to prison for killing the people who killed my father. First she killed their grandfather, then their father then the son and when she went to bury them together so they'd be unified in death-- the police caught her and she went to jail.
Have you committed any crimes you were or should have been convicted from? I once made one of my sworn brothers pee by whistling a lot. But he had to pee to get the Forget Me Drink out of his system! But I felt bad afterward because he got urethritis.
Are you lying on your previous answer? I never lie. It's bad. That’s why I’ve answered all of these questions straightforwardly and honestly. Thank you so much for your time, I hope I’ve done well.
Character: Daimonji Shun
Series: Kamen Rider Fourze
Character Age: 19
Canon: When there's a rubber suit monster infestation at Amanogawa High School, who you gonna call? The Kamen Rider Club, apparently! Kisaragi Gentarou, an outgoing transfer student hellbent on befriending everyone in the school (including the villains), assumes the role of Kamen Rider Fourze to fight against monsters known as Zodiarts and protect the school and all of his newfound friends. He isn't alone in his fight, however; by his side are the members of the Kamen Rider Club, several misfits whose lives were touched by Gentarou in one way or another, who work to support him and fight along his side in any way that they can.
As the captain of AGHS's American Football team, Daimonji Shun was well-known as the "king" of the school and was well-respected and admired by his peers. To them, he appeared to be a prideful young man with a bit of a temper whose main concern was his status and how it reflected upon his family as a whole. However, much of this is a facade that is peeled away haphazardly by Gentarou. Pressured by his father to perform up to his standards, Shun spent many years giving in to his desires, to the point where when he finally decides to break away and decide his own path, Shun isn't quite sure who or what he wants to be. The real Shun is, essentially, a dork. He’s more sensitive and surprisingly insightful, which can make him seem quiet at times. His role in the KRC is that of the bruiser though and, as per the trope, he can be prone to some moments where he is completely and utterly clueless to social graces, with a dweeby soft spot for his ex girlfriend, Miu. He's also one to be easily flustered when caught off guard, throwing his dignity to the wind when he's worked up about something. Still, above all else, Shun is trying to be a decent friend and good to his companions.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words.
Ahh, of course. This is like an entrance exam, isn't it? My name is Daimonji Shun. At my high school, I was the quarterback on the American Football team. Our record speaks for itself, in my opinion. O-of course, that was due to the team's effort as a whole, and not merely my leadership.
I participated in another club as well, but-- well. My extracurricular activities keep me busy enough along with my university studies. I don't know where I'm going as of yet in life, but I plan on taking in the experiences that come my way to the fullest.
Why are you joining our happy community?
To get the experience that only a summer camp in America can offer. There's much in the world that I still haven't tried. That aside, it seems like America could be outside of my own personal comfort zone, which is something my high school sweetheart Miu has been trying to convince me to do. ... which is to say, we're not necessarily together right now, i-it's something one might refer to as a "rough patch." But if I can show her how I can expand my horizons and beyond, Miu will definitely--
That's-- that's getting off track, isn't it.
-- Besides! I've heard America's sports programs are top notch, and that's a path that I'm interested in pursuing.
What do you expect from your camp experience?
I've never been to a summer camp before, let alone one in an entirely different country. I would have expected it at a different time of year, of course, but I won't complain about having the opportunity. The pamphlet that you sent me was very descriptive and has a lot of things that neither my high school nor my current university has. I'm looking forward to the canoes in particular. Crew has always been an interest of mine, so perhaps if I were to find a place that offered me the opportunity--
Can you swim? Y/N
Of course I can! What kind of question is that for an athlete like myself? Besides, it's a summer camp. Everyone should be able to swim.
- Could you still do it under extreme distress? Y/N
... What kind of question is that.
-- While dragging someone else to shore? Y/N
W-- well of course, I took some training as a lifeguard once, but--
--- While something, let's say a tentacle, tries to drag you under? Y/N
-- what kind of question is that, hey!
---- How would you handle that situation?
Just what kind of Crew are you running here, exactly?!
Can you perform a flawless headshot? If not, and if your life depended on it, how many hours a week would you be willing to spend on the shooting range?
And what kind of camp is this?! Your pamphlet didn't mention anything about this "survival of the fittest" mentality. Who needs to know how to use a firearm like that, huh? How does that lend to the perfect summer camp experience? I thought American summer camps were supposed to be about group activities and friendship and even s'mores in the cold midsummer nights! This is definitely false advertising, with all your guns and your tentacle lakes and not a single graham cracker or marshmallow in sight!
Mark my words, Camp, I won't allow this to stand. You haven't heard the last of Daimonji Shun. If I have to, I'll pry those marshmallows from your cold, twisted hands myself!!
Character: Utahoshi Kengo
Series: Kamen Rider Fourze
Character Age: 17
Canon: Fourze is the story of Kisaragi Gentarou, the boy who will befriend everyone at Amanogawa High School. He transfers there at the beginning of his second year and discovers that monsters called Zodiarts are threatening the school and its students. Gentarou battles these monsters by transforming into Kamen Rider Fourze, a suit infused with an out-of-this-world power called Cosmic Energy. He is supported by his friends in the Kamen Rider Club, a semi-secret team formed to aid Gentarou in his efforts.
Utahoshi Kengo is one of the first friends Gentarou makes at Amanogawa, and Kengo is the reason Gentarou is able to utilize the power of Fourze. His father developed the system behind Fourze and left Kengo his research upon his passing when Kengo was very young. Kengo has since been struggling to finish his father’s work with Cosmic Energy while battling a chronic, mysterious illness that often leaves him incapacitated. Kengo is solitary and single-minded about his goal--almost resentful of people trying to be close to him, thinking it to be a distraction. Being very anti-social before he met Gentarou, it was difficult for Kengo to adjust to the idea of help from others. However, he slowly grows to value the people around him and supports those fighting from the sidelines as best he can--often with a note of sardonicism.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words.
Utahoshi Kengo, a second-year student at Amanogawa High school. Though there’s the possibility that I might have to repeat a year since I spend a lot of time absent from class in the infirmary or in the Kamen Rider Club meeting place, which definitely is not a locker in an abandoned classroom with a portal that leads to a small base on the moon. But you didn’t hear that from me.
I’m also a theoretical astrophysicist, but try telling my science teachers that.
Why are you joining our happy community?
A woman named Dr. Elizabeth Sayre contacted me with her credentials as an astrophysicist and requested that I come and help her examine the barrier that seems to be around this place for weak points. She seemed to know a great deal about my research, and wrote that she believes Cosmic Energy might be a key to strengthening the barrier, suggesting that my involvement here may be helpful in continuing my father’s work.
Well, as you can see, it gets kind of technical. Anyway, I’m here per her request, so I’m not sure why I have to fill out this ridiculous survey, but I suppose that’s the tedious, needlessly bureaucratic way of the adult world.
What do you expect from the counselors?
Not much.
The teachers at Amanogawa certainly aren’t very helpful in a crisis, so I don’t really expect more from the people in charge here. Most of our teachers aren’t even together enough to bother checking where I’ve gone when I tell them I’m ill and skip out of class, and it’s not like they’re doing anything against the monsters attacking the school, either. I’ve always taken care of myself, personally. If trouble hits, it’s fine that they’re there if they don’t get in my way, but I hardly expect them to be of any help.
Do you think you are good in a crisis? Why?
I am.
You need to be, to be an effective scientist. You also have to keep a cool head to be able to function in space--you’re in a tightly enclosed area, and panicking doesn’t do anybody any good when things go wrong. ...especially when panicking tends to make you fall over and nearly pass out, but that’s my own problem. Of course, I’d be better in a crisis if people paid more attention to me instead of ignoring me when I tell them not to touch dangerous delicate scientific equipment, and there might be fewer crises to begin with, but that’s the price I pay, I guess.
If there was a good dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why?
...oh, for--what is even the point of this? I can’t imagine why Dr. Sayre would even need to--er. I mean. I suddenly don’t feel well. I think I’m going to go to the infirmary and just... finish this later.
Character: Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman)
Series: Ultimate Spider-Man
Character Age: Looks 16
Canon: The story of Peter Parker's transformation into the superhero Spider-Man goes like this: Spider bites boy, boy gains great spider-based powers, boy learns the true meaning of those powers (great responsibility). While trying to save his city from the supervillians who threaten it, Spider-Man comes into contact with a group of scientists determined to create the next super soldier. Their strategy? Borrow some of Spider-Man's DNA and clone the shit out of him.
Jessica Drew is one of the clones created from Peter’s DNA, with some tweaking that gave her nifty added powers and lady parts. Dubbed Spider-Woman by her creators, Jess inherited all of Peter's memories, smarts, and habit of making smartass commentary. Despite their similarities, though, they're definitely not the same person. Jessica is craftier and angrier, less inclined to merciful treatment of bad guys and trusting other people. She’s dedicated to her work with the government agency SHIELD and uses her efforts as a superhero to define herself and forge an identity separate from Peter Parker.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words.
Hi there, kids and counselors. My name is Spider-Woman, and I'm here on behalf of SHIELD. SHIELD, in case you weren't aware because you've been living under a rock made out of energy barrier, deals with matters of national security. Including, but not limited to, supervillains attempting to create undead armies while experimenting on civilians trapped in a quote-unquote summer camp.
If it wasn't obvious: I'm looking at you, Camp Director.
Why are you joining our happy community?
Since I already sort of touched on this, can we take a second to talk about word choice? Happy isn't how I'd describe this particular community, since no one here really looks happy. Sure, the Director probably is, despite the fact that she has the worst villain name I’ve ever heard. I've met my fair share of heinous monsters with equally heinous names before, but this one takes the cake. She sounds more like the alter ego of a particularly nasty piece of work from the Hollywood blockbuster circle, not a mad scientist working on the latest in cadaver mobility.
And joining isn’t really the right word either. More like dismantling? Dismantling isn’t too strong here, is it, because I originally wanted to go with raze. I thought that might be crossing a line or two, though, since the majority of of the people here are civilians. I just have a lot of opinions on mad scientists, especially ones with a soft spot for tentacles.
If there was a dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why?
The dog, obviously. The thing is, though, I could actually save both. That’s the beauty of having spider powers. They might walk away from the experience with some phobias related to things like heights and webbing, but at least they’d walk away. I’d still feel worse for the dog in that scenario, but I suppose I’m just predictable like that.
Why are you a valuable asset to this camp?
My razor wit and charming personality will just light up the place during the dismantling process. Also? Spider powers. I wasn’t joking about those. Unlike some people around here, my name is A. pretty excellent and B. actually descriptive.
Again: Looking at you, Camp Director.
Character: Isana Yashiro [Adolf K Weismann]
Series: K
Character Age: 17 [50+]
Canon: SPOILERS FOR ALL OF K At the end of WWII, scientist Adolf K. Weismann discovered a special artifact that could grant people special powers. Adolf hoped his discovery would lead to world peace, a seemingly impossible dream given the world around him. Over half a century later, world peace is far from a reality, and his discovery now powers several notable groups in Japan that impact the world’s progress. At the center of these groups are the kings who pass their abilities on to their vassals. Adolf is the most powerful of these kings, though he has lived in isolation and remained uninvolved in all the world’s affairs since the end of the war. Therefore when one of the kings’ vassals seems to be murdered by Isana Yashiro, it’s not strange that he’s nowhere in sight.
Yashiro—or just Shiro—is not what anyone would expect from a murderer, and that’s because he isn’t one. Cheerful and extremely irresponsible, Shiro always keeps an open mind and relaxed disposition in the face of most things. Though he is quite clever and a rather capable liar, which allows him to get out of most difficult pinches, he doesn’t have any secret homicidal tendencies. Instead, he is kind, open-hearted, and can be sentimental at the drop of a hat. Indeed, it’s easier to conclude that Shiro is a pacifist rather than a murderer. All of this actually makes a lot of sense because Shiro is actually the bodyswapped peace-loving amnesiac Adolf stuck in a teenager’s body. Even with his memories back, though, he still thinks of himself as Shiro, and his greatest, if somewhat irresponsible, desire remains the same: he wants peace and he’ll do anything to obtain it.
Note: Shiro is being apped post-season one.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words.
Well … to tell you the truth, I don’t think a few words will really suffice here if you’d like to know about me. But simply put, you can call me Isana Yashiro. Just Shiro is fine!
That, however, is where it becomes a lot more complicated. I’d tell you about the things I like, but I like almost everything. Our world as it is makes it very difficult to dislike things, though I’m sure if you ever tried my cooking, we might be on our way to finding one thing. But perhaps someone would appreciate my efforts! I don’t dislike any sports, because everyone puts their hearts into it, and I don’t dislike any colors, either.
Though … I do dislike one thing: war. I think most people would be in agreement with me on this, even if it’s a rather large ideal to carry around.
Why are you joining our happy community?
Huh? Shouldn’t you know the answer to this yourself? You’re the one who brought me here!
But if I’m correct and this survey is going to your Director, it must be because she’s looking for answers and just the right person to help her find them. Hmm … well, I might have an answer for her! Unfortunately, it lies just beyond the barrier, so I won’t be able to show it to her here.
Therefore, Miss Director, why don’t we step out together? I’m afraid I came rather unprepared for what you wanted from me, but that’s easy to fix.
Have you committed any crimes you were or should have been convicted from?
Ah … the survey’s still continuing, well, that’s too bad. I guess you’ll find my answer in the database later on and hopefully it’ll set off the right instructions.
As for your question, isn’t that a little bold of you? Even if I tell you “no,” you’re not going to take my word for it. As it is, you really should know better than to listen to everything you hear on the streets!
Are you lying on your previous answer?
That’s what I thought! But I’m definitely not lying. I can’t really blame you for having to check. It seems that you don’t really have a way of keeping tabs on everyone who arrives, huh? Even keeping them all in one place doesn’t do the trick.
If there was a good dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why?
These questions … Don’t you have anything nicer to ask someone? Don’t you think these questions are a little intimidating? Besides, you don’t even specify anything. What did the criminal do? Did he steal food? He could be convicted from that! A good dog is also a fairly loose definition, too. After all, a “good dog” can also cause a lot of harm if the dog is good because they’re well-trained! And even a bad dog might have its reasoning …
I’m afraid I can’t answer your question the way you want. I’d prefer to see them both saved!
What is your job here at CFUD? What do you think that means?
Oh, I know! I’m here to help set the surveys right, aren’t I? That must be why you gave me such a bad survey, to show what kind of work I have to do! Don’t worry, it’ll be a lot more fun when I’m done with it, and you won’t be giving anyone the wrong idea about this camp. After all, summer camps are meant to be fun, and these can be the first step to making that happen.
Then again, aren’t you supposed to have counselors to do this? I guess you can’t really assign someone an easy task like this one because that’d be a little strange!
Character: Alexandra “Alex” Garcia
Series: Kuroko no Basket
Character Age: in her 30’s.
Job: Self-defence teacher
Canon: Kuroko no Basket tells the story of a high school student named Kuroko, who plays basketball against his former teammates, reminding them of the joy in the game that comes from more than just winning. In the process, he grows closer to his new teammates – particularly his best friend (and “new light,” Kagami), and determines that his new dream will be to make this team the best team in all of Japan.
Alex is Kagami’s coach from America. She owns a youth basketball club, and Kagami and Himuro were her first students. It is possible that she played basketball while in university as well as in the WNBA league, until an eye disease halted her career; she doesn’t talk much about this period in her life. She grew to dislike and disown basketball, despite spending so much time on it. However, this changed when she met the two young players (Kagami and HImuro), who begged and annoyed her until she agreed to teach them to play. After giving in to their wheedling, she found that she enjoyed teaching and could still participate in her favourite sport in this way. She now teaches basketball for a living.
Perhaps not surprisingly for a Japanese manga/anime, Alex represents a stereotypical expatriate American. She is very open with her feelings and far less reserved than the native Japanese around her. Going around kissing everyone on the mouth, check; blond with big boobs, check; comfortable both with her own nudity and that of others, check; blunt and outspoken, check; kicks ass when needed, double check (no delicate flower here; when she was pinned to a wall by one of Kuroko’s adversaries, she kicked him hard in the head to rescue herself). In spite of (or perhaps because of) the caricature of her traits, she is actually a very charismatic character, cheerful most of the time, though she is capable of getting serious when the circumstances require it. Even though at times she seems flippant and childish – throwing kisses at strangers and throwing tantrums about putting her clothes on), she has a somewhat maternal way of acting towards her students, showing care and worrying about their well-being and happiness.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words.
If you read my letter you must already know some of my story. I used to be a WNBA professional, until I developed a complication with my eyes.
At that time, I went a little rough… you probably saw that there were a couple of years of break between my career as a professional basketball player and the start of my teaching… Well, I can say that I am not really proud of those days. I went a little wild, started playing with bets and gambling with high stakes. Sometimes things got a little violent also.
But that time is long gone. Right at that point, I met up with my two first students, Taiga and Tatsuya… and realized that teaching them about what I loved was a lot more rewarding than drowning myself in my anger. Basketball and teaching children have both become my passions and I wouldn’t trade my job for the world.
My teaching methods may sometimes be a little demanding, but it’s not just about teaching the kids about basketball… It’s about teaching them morals and a way of life.
And well, most of the kids get used to my occasional nudity and kissing after the first two weeks. [laughs]
Why are you joining our happy community?
I felt that I needed a change of pace and environment. When I saw your advertisement, I just jumped right in and applied.
Do you think you are good in a crisis? Why?
Yes, I live in America and am half-Spanish; I’ve had to develop crisis management skills just to deal with Christmas or Thanksgiving with the family.
What if the crisis involved the end of the world? Please explain.
You obviously never came for Thanksgiving at my place.
Oh.. you are serious? Okay, well. [shows arms] I am quite tough, so I’ll manage it.
Can you swim? Y/N Yeah
- Could you still do it under extreme distress? Y/N Yes.
-- While dragging someone else to shore? Y/N Yes
--- While something, let’s say a tentacle, tries to drag you under? Y/N … Never tried, but I would say that I can.
---- How would you handle that situation? Call the marines! And kick it a lot! Make it think twice next time it decides to mess up with me.
Have you committed any crimes you were or should have been convicted from?
No! Of course not!
Are you lying on your previous answer?
... Okay, I had a few speeding tickets… and 2 times which I spent the night in jail. But come on, it’s not my fault that those idiots were sore losers and started a fight!
The second time I might have insulted a cop… But that’s it! I swear.
What is your job here at CFUD? What do you think that means?
Basketball coach and it means I get to teach all these brats how to play basketball.
Wait… self-defense?! I thought it was for teaching basketball!
… [grim expression]
Damn… Ah well… I guess it can’t be helped now [sighs].
Character: Nishikikouji Tohri
Series: Hatoful Boyfriend (Holiday Star)
Character Age: somewhere in his early 30s
Job: Manga Editor By Day, Mad Scientist By Night
Canon: Nishikikouji Tohri: brilliant inventor and scientist, art connoisseur, agent of an underground faction, and the editor-in-chief of a shounen manga magazine. ...He's just also a golden pheasant. After all, in the world of Hatoful Boyfriend, select species of birds have become the dominant species on Earth. Bird society in the future looks mostly like present human society, with schools, malls, politics, and more. Tohri himself was once a researcher for a shady organization, developing new optical technology, but his research became overshadowed by an upstart medical doctor. Not one to be second best, even to another division, Tohri quit with the fire of resentment still burning brightly in his heart.
It's no real surprise that he took it so personally. After all, he is delusionally egotistical and ostentatious, and has a fixation on making things ~artistic~. His inventions are numbered "Nishikikouji Masterpieces", no matter how ludicrous they may be (such as powering a laser with the fantasies of otaku). At his current manga editing job, he does seem to have some glimmers of genuine business sense and desire to cultivate young talent... but it's often clouded by his hare-brained schemes and desire to market hug pillows of himself along with the manga. It's hard to live a perfectly normal life when you're the self-absorbed bit villain.
Sample Post:
Feel blessed, my young aspiring artists...! For I, Nishikikouji Tohri, have descended among you in order to foster your talents and inspire you to greatness. Now, I shall proceed into a deliberate silence to account for everybirdie's applause.
...
Do you think you can get away with saying you lost your other hand?! I see very well that it is right there! Yes! Right! There! In the other fellow’s pants! Rude! You ought to always be prepared for a round of applause.
—Very well. I shall proceed to the lecture nevertheless. Let us commence with talk of character design. Any manga begins with unique, artistic design! You'll have to make your characters stand out from the rest! An important consideration for shounen manga is to make the villain appear properly evil, so the audience can root for the heroes. A true villain is recognizable on sight! For example, consider the "evil doctor" stereotype. Surely universally reviled! A fat, ugly bird that no one will want to sympathize with... emphasize his detestable glare, so you can just see how he might want to ruin some innocent pheasant's life... Eugh! Positively disgusting!! I know who I'm NOT rooting for!!! Ideally, your protagonist should be stunningly beautiful to serve as a contrast. Well, naturally I have no problem if you are to go with a golden pheasant as your main character for its unique charm and beauty. Would you like for me to pose—
Oh. Oh! Is it already this time? Goodness. My apologies. We shall have to continue this lecture at a later time. It is explicitly in my contract that I am to act as an editor only "by day", and it has already become night. Though the name is frightfully gauche, now is the time to begin my duties as "Mad Scientist"! Luckily, I already came prepared with an artistic demonstration of my talent. If you would like to continue studying my greatness into the night, then behold: Nishikikouji Masterpiece #698, the Illicit Yearning Aggregator!!
Witness! It is a true stroke of genius to draw upon this location's unique qualities, no? The power of the laser is fed by the frustrations of those that cannot consummate their feelings...! It's concentrated with UST energy! It's Ultra-Super-Turbo artistic!! Well then, are there any last words before my true power is demonstrated?!
...Hm? You were expecting me to address the fact that your new counselor is a talking pheasant?! Preposterous! I have much more to do with my time than to explain simple facts of biology and history to you!!
AS A NOTE: If you apply for a character and get in, we expect you to be prepared to play your character within a week of getting in. If there are extenuating circumstances, please e-mail us, but failure to do so can be grounds for idling.
Remember!

Abstain on Zhong because it reads kind of unnatural and stilted to me, but I'm canonblind and don't know if that's just the way the character is supposed to sound.
Out on Alex because some of her responses don't seem to line up well with the canon section (e.g. the canon mentions that she might have been a WNBA player but doesn't ever talk about this, but then the first question response is her explicitly saying she was one).
