Character Age: 15-16
Canon: K-On! is about a group of high school girls who are part of their school’s Light Music Club. Yet instead of having band practice, they usually just sit around eating cake, drinking tea, and chatting. Starting off with four members, they never paid much attention to practicing until their fifth and youngest member, Nakano Azusa joined as rhythm guitarist. It’s slice of life all over with enough sickening cuteness to give you cavities.
Azusa, or “Azu-nyan” as the group calls her, is a quiet girl with a mild-mannered demeanor who loves music and tries her best with everything she does. She has a long musical background, considering her parents are jazz musicians and she’s been playing the guitar since she was very young. She can be easily be flustered or bewildered, and the latter can usually be seen whenever she’s around the club because of their antics. It causes her to sometimes stutter and be easily shaken up until she snaps, her short temper showing up as she starts yelling. Upon joining the group, their laziness bothered her immensely and though she’s adapted to the club practices by now, she’s one of the few who remembers to actually practice instead of sitting around drinking tea and eating cake!

You want to learn jazz? I might not be the best to teach that to you but I’ll try my best. Do you have a guitar? Or anything at all? Saxophones are a really strong staple of what a jazz instrument is - it has a low sound and cool melody - so that’s something you might want to look into! I’m sure you can find something neat since we’re in Louisiana, aren’t we? Louisiana is really big on jazz music and... maybe if we can ah, somehow... find a way out of this swamp I can show you... Uhm. A-anyway for now I can only play guitar, so I’ll teach you how to play that. Here, I’ll lend you mine, so we can get started - just don’t get any saliva on it.
Mister Zombie, I didn’t notice before but you don’t... have all your fingers, do you? I’m not sure if I can teach you how to play the guitar with only six of them and you even look like you’re losing more... Uhm, b-be careful. If you pick up an instrument, you need to practice and practice and practice... which would be difficult for someone like you. Er, no offense. Perhaps something different, maybe not so finger orientated! Though I can’t think of many that don’t need them... Uh, perhaps you could sing? I’m not good at singing and there’s not many songs that have a lot of “brain” themes though so I can’t really help with that... Actually, the saxophone might work! But... oh... your jaw doesn’t seem very stable, does it? Hm. You should pick up your teeth from the ground, probably.
Well, you’re off to a good start either way! The important part is enjoying the music and you definitely seem like you do! If you keep the passion and drive, you can go far even without fingers! Or a jaw...and teeth... eyes too... Huh. Mister Zombie, I will be honest with you - I don’t think you’re ready for playing music just yet but if you really want to try, I’m sure we can find you a pair of maracas. This is the “Camp for Unifying Dreams”, right? So the best we can do is strive to achieve your dream!

Series: Final Fantasy XIII-2
Character Age: Unknown? A moogle.
Canon: Three years ago, a woman named Lightning led a group against impossible odds in an attempt to save the world. Though she came back safely, that's not what everyone remembers. Everyone but her sister, Serah. Serah remembers her surviving, and her memories are proved true when Noel, a time-traveler sent by Lightning, falls into her world, and together they begin their journey through time to find Lightning and fix the distortions tearing apart the timeline. Joining them on their journey is Mog, a moogle sent with Noel by Lightning for Serah.
Like all moogles, Mog is a small furry creature with bat-like wings and a fondness for punctuating his speech with an exhausting amount of "kupo"s. He is caring and lively, proud of himself and what he brings to the mission, often exclaiming "who's the moogle?" when he succeeds at something. He's full of information to guide Serah and Noel, carefree and inquisitive and ready to face the next challenge. Even if he does get scared and hide behind Serah, sometimes. At one point he shows himself to be a bit gil-hungry, going on about a great bounty they're to collect, and when it's not what he expects he is heartbroken. ("Humans are evil, kupo!") Some of Mog's talents include the ability to sense and reveal distortions in time, find hidden items, and communicate with monsters.

The humans here are all meanies, kupo! And so pushy! They kept asking me to save, and when I could not help them they got so mad. I don't even know what that is, kupo! I said I was sorry. . . But I am very busy, kupokupo, I did not have time to argue. There is someone who needs me! I must get to her. This place is scary, and time is all twisted. It's dangerous, kupo. They said that's why they needed to save, kupo, that's what moogles are for, even one that was "weird-looking"-- Really, there was no need to be so rude, kupo. . . And then I found you, my moogle brothers and sisters! Kupopoku! It's been so long since I've seen any other moogle besides myself. Warms my bobble, kupo, even in a place like this. Ohh, we have so much to talk about! Sure, you are a different kind of moogle. . . but a moogle is a moogle, kupo, and family is family.
But um, this "saving" the humans are all talking about, what do they mean, kupo? Oh? Kupoo. Before I found you, I thought if the humans really wanted to save their progress they should probably try to keep a diary, kupo! But I didn't know. . . And you do this service for everyone, kupo! I am full of moogle pride! What a nice thing to do. But why-- why do it for free? "Just happy to help", kup-- Kupoooo, don't give me that look. It's not that saving for free is wrong. . . not at all, kupo! We must help the humans, of course. But, kupo, I haven’t even been here a day and so many humans have asked for my help! A day. Just think, kupo! Think! You are sitting on an absolute gil-making machine, kupo. The only thing you're missing is a good business plan, kupo! It's hardly a bad thing to ask for a little compensation for your services. It's simple! A little extra pocket change here and there and in no time at all you'll be absolutely rolling in gil, kupo. Guaranteed! Believe in Mog, kupo!
What just might be my most important advice, kupo. . . Always always, always make sure you get a sample payment up-front! Trust me on this, kupo. Humans are our friends, but they can be incredibly sneaky creatures, and we must never forget this! Even if "ten years worth" sounds like the deal of a century. Ten years of what, kupo? That's the problem, kupo. That's how the humans trick you! If you don't see the goods beforehand the whole mission could end in tragedy. Tragedy, kupo. . .
A-anyway! This is no time to dwell on bad memories, kupo! Not when there are good memories of precious gil right around the corner. Remember: humans need to save, but a moogle needs to make a living. Kupo!

Canon: In the world of Ephinea, the world is divided into three countries, each of which contain massive magical crystals that provide them with certain resources. Political tensions can run high, but there is relative peace. This all changes when a global threat emerges and a small group of heroes must come together to combat it.
Hubert Oswell, the most uptight of these heroes has spent the past seven years estranged from his family. During this time, he would up enlisted in the military. Due to his upbringing and military training, he is extremely logical and can come across as quite uncaring, going so far as to speak to others in a condescending manner. He often focuses on the analytical side of things first, and feelings second. This includes daily training regimens, a slight obsession with money, and keeping notes on things. While he can appear callous and arrogant, he also gets flustered easily, and does in fact care deeply about those important to him, and will put his career and life on the line in order to keep them safe.

Preposterous. Are you honestly telling me, that despite having a Director and a cadre of supposed professionals here to assist with running your little camp here, you have no concrete operating budget to speak of? I find it very hard to believe that a settlement of this size is unable to account for, well, anything.
Take this lake for example. Surely the food costs for a a monster of that size alone are exorbitant. Have you given any thought to that at all? And all of these other creatures roaming around-- what is the cost of their upkeep? These undead are clearly underfed, with their constant demand for brains, but that is no way to keep costs down. Even though they’re dead, it won’t do to have their morale being lowered due to inadequate supplies.
And that isn't even taking into consideration how lax everything else is here. No, spare me. Gorillas dragging people to breakfast most certainly doesn't count as keeping things orderly. This place is being run more like an out of control petting zoo than any sort of camp I've ever seen. Don't you at least have manuals or guides? Your library, if that is what you want to call it, has a large assortment of useless romance novels and far too many guides on, ahem, sexual acts. This seems especially contradictory considering the arbitrary ban you've got in place.
Luckily for you, I happen to be here to offer some measure of assistance. You could begin with taking things a little more seriously around here. This ‘Tuesday soup’, for instance. Putting aside from the fact that only someone completely insane would find eating such food a good idea, surely the mere expenditures in preparation alone must be ridiculous. Wouldn't the owners of those body parts be of more use actually helping out around here? With all the chaos you have going on, every hand and spare body part would help. Why not put the owners of these parts to work training new arrivals for some of the adjustments they must making in living here?
Of course, if you're going to disregard all of this and continue doing your best to keep everyone off guard at all times, then please, by all means, continue. Heavens know it has been working out for you so far.

Series: Sabrina the Teenage Witch (TV Show)
Character Age: 18
Canon: Being a teenager is full of ups and downs and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (both the show and the eponymous character) demonstrates this - except with the added difficulty of magical shenanigans. Sabrina Spellman is half-witch, half-mortal who leads a dual life, struggling with the trials of being a teen and keeping her magic heritage a secret from other mortals (despite the reccurring clashes between the two, which are usually and unintentionally caused by her). With the help from her aunts, Zelda and Hilda Spellman, and talking cat, Salem, Sabrina goes through the ups and downs of being blessed with magical powers and learning valuable life lessons along the way.
Sabrina is an outgoing young witch with a kindhearted and bubbly personality. Her words come with a dash of typical teenage sarcasm, but otherwise she’s benign and genuinely helpful towards others. Sabrina can be viewed as odd by her peers because of the inexplicable (actually, magical) occurrences around her and for her almost grating cheerfulness. She’s loyal to her friends and family and has a passionate attitude towards anything she puts her mind to. Despite being introduced to magic late in her life, she’s clever and intelligent enough to quickly control and master her skills. The use of her abilities, however, often lands her into a lot of trouble which causes her to panic before finding a solution. Like a lot of teens, she is often prone to making questionable decisions and sometimes blatantly ignores advice from her elders, but is quick to fix and learn from her mistakes. Regardless of what mistakes she makes, magical or not, Sabrina always makes sure to do her best to make amends and do what’s right.

Ah, summer camp. There’s nothing like having your parental figures send you away to the Middle of Nowhere, U.S.A. in hopes that their charge will learn valuable life lessons in the span of a few weeks. Said lessons include making endless amounts of lanyards and singing terrible songs around a campfire while getting fattened up with s’mores.
I don’t think that’s exactly what I’m getting here though and I sure hope Aunt Hilda and Zelda didn’t mean for me to end up here. I mean just look at this! Robotic cows, toucans, and purple gorillas in a Louisiana swampland! Yup, I can’t think of anywhere else that would make for a prime camping location.
If those zombies are any indication, I have a slight suspicion that they may have been previous campers. Geez, I hope I don’t turn out like those poor guys. I can’t afford to go back and attend college while half of my flesh is hanging off of my jaw! I won’t be able to use badly applied makeup or all nighters as an excuse! I definitely don’t want to feel dead inside and out either. The name of the camp isn’t doing its best to inspire this quickly deflating hope though.
Okay, I really want to know what the deal is here. I mean, overall I don’t think the camp seems too bad! I just passed by an open air bath. Talk about luxury! There are other people about, but maybe it would be best to ask the wildlife about camp instead! Hopefully they’d have a less biased opinion. Speaking to a violet hued gorilla isn’t one of the weirder things I’ve done after all. Let’s see what language would a gorilla speak in? Better apply some magic here.
Well, of course it’s Japanese. What else was I expecting? Rather, I continue to expect too much. Anyways, pardon me? Can you tell me more about the campgrounds? Yes, I know about the zombies and Tuesday's soup. Yuck. And I’ve seen what’s in the lake. Marcy huh? That’s a strangely adorable name for a frightening beast with multiple appendages. A few of the rules here, I’m a bit skeptical about, but I’ve also noticed that there is a distinct lack about concern for our safety. Are you rolling your eyes at me?

If those zombies are any indication, I have a slight suspicion that they may have been previous campers. Geez, I hope I don’t turn out like those poor guys. I can’t afford to go back and attend college while half of my flesh is hanging off of my jaw! I won’t be able to use badly applied makeup or all nighters as an excuse! I definitely don’t want to feel dead inside and out either. The name of the camp isn’t doing its best to inspire this quickly deflating hope though.
Okay, I really want to know what the deal is here. I mean, overall I don’t think the camp seems too bad! I just passed by an open air bath. Talk about luxury! There are other people about, but maybe it would be best to ask the wildlife about camp instead! Hopefully they’d have a less biased opinion. Speaking to a violet hued gorilla isn’t one of the weirder things I’ve done after all. Let’s see what language would a gorilla speak in? Better apply some magic here.
