Series: Digimon Adventure (Series 1)
Character Age: 10 (Fifth Grade)
Canon: On the first day of summer camp, seven kids mysteriously get sent to another world filled with creatures called Digimon. Each child is paired up with a Digimon partner who become their best friends and protectors. As the story develops, the children are forced to realize that getting home isn’t their biggest problem but that they’re the only ones who can save both the Digital World and their own. As the result of their adventure, the children develop irreplaceable bonds and exit the Digital World better people than they were when they first arrived.
Having grown up spoiled and sheltered, Mimi is not at all suited for adventure. Mimi can be oblivious, immature and emotional. She frequently whines, has a tendency to run her mouth off and her temporary solution to things is sometimes to cry about it. To Mimi’s credit, she has it pretty bad. Ending up in another world where her life is frequently threatened and frequently being propositioned by disgusting Digimon can really take its toll on a young girl. As Mimi matures, her priorities shift from less self absorbed, spoiled and superficial to a pure girl who is kind, forgiving and selfless. But she still wouldn’t date a Digimon who looks like a piece of turd.

Now that you’re finally being reasonable, to have a successful camp you definitely need to have these things: a bed, a bath, air conditioning... oh definitely a tv! Room service, buffet style breakfast, a pool... Hey, I know that doesn’t really sound like camping but it’s so much better! I’d take sleeping in a hotel room over roughing it any day. That’s what a real vacation is supposed to be like. If you cared about your campers, you’d think of about how you could make being here more comfortable. You even banned sugar here! Sugar helps a child grow! Or was that calcium? Oh well.
Fine, here’s Mimi-sama’s absolute biggest no-no for summer camp although it should really be a no brainer: don’t take kids and stick them into another world.

Canon: The X-Family revolves around Harry Potter references, breaking the fourth wall, and determining the fate of the planet with magical guitar battles. Unfortunately, the would-be heroes from the prequel KO ONE have lost their powers and must get back up to their previous power levels to take part in this interdimensional battle. To return to their original strength, their alternate selves must be found within one of the free dimensions: the Iron Dimension. It’s through these alternates that their lost power can be regained.The first alternate to be found is Xia Tian, and he has the potential to become the strongest power user within all dimensions as well as attaining the ultimate power and title of ‘Savior of Dimensions.’ But to do so he must go through many trials and tribulations, so that he can protect the people he loves and the world from evil. This series follows him and his rise to power.
Xia Tian is a simple-hearted and good-natured boy. He is also very naive and doesn’t recognize the bad intentions of people who interact with him because he believes the best of everyone. He always tries his hardest in whatever he does, giving 110% no matter what. His dream is to learn how to play the guitar and become a rockstar, and initially, he had no intentions of cultivating his supernatural abilities or becoming any sort of savior. It isn't until he realizes he needs to become stronger to protect the people he loves that he decides to become ‘The Savior of Dimensions.’ But because he's never learned to control his powers, a magical patch was placed on him to strip him of his abilities. It doesn't happen often, but when this patch is taken off, his less dominant evil personality called Gui Long comes out and attempts to cause havoc. Gui Long is crude, wild and is only concerned about himself. All he wants to do is fight strong people, party and do whatever he wants based on his own whims. He also has no problem hurting others to serve his own means and has an utter disdain for his host as well as everyone else.
Notes: Xia Tian is being taken halfway into the series. One of Gui Long's abilities is that he can make anyone, man or woman, pregnant for three days with just a kiss.

That nice man I asked directions from said that this shortcut was the quickest way to get to the Camp For Untrained Dimensional Saviors. I didn't even know there was a camp for this until the producer told me that I needed to go to raise our drama's ratings. My progress isn't going so well, and it caused a dip in viewers watching. I definitely don't want our drama to get cancelled because I didn't get stronger, and she said that if I came here I could learn how to play the guitar better, too. It's strange, I know, but the main weapon of the Savior is a guitar. It's nice, isn't it? To know that music can save the world.
Oh, I just rambled on without even introducing myself. I'm really sorry about that. I guess I'm just really excited to meet another person like me. I thought there was only one person who was allowed to become the Savior! Then again, there has to be more than one type; maybe you’re a Savior of sushi or Savior for orphaned animals! Mei, the former princess of the Risha Tribe as well as Ptera Ranger, is as kind as she is just with a large sense of responsibility that stems from her duty as a Zyuranger. Mei’s keen intellect and wit aids her in both battle and in everyday things. However, her kind and compassionate heart serves her well in being the glue that holds the team together, always trying to ease people’s concerns and worries when it’s needed. That being said, she strives to help others make the right choices, even if it’s someone that she just met. Another facet is that Mei is exceptionally crafty, what with being able to dress up to fool any of her enemies. This craftiness goes into her fighting as she makes sure to let her voice, or rather her weapons, be heard. She’s not a pushover, however, and fights back when needed. All in all, Mei definitely makes sure that her duty comes first and to go at every day as much as she can.

Outwardly, Shusei is calm, a tad cynical and blunt and doesn't talk much about himself, though he is generally nice towards the people around him. He puts up a wall of indifference, polite smiles and deadpan faces, and very rarely lets it crack. While inside he's far from as emotionless as he presents himself to be, he's still an expert at keeping a serious face. Despite this, he is loyal and would rather die than sell out his comrades, but can be stubborn to a fault. Shusei lacks self worth, which sometimes gets the better of him as when he skips meals, and claims he has no appetite.

As a Zweilt guardian, Usui Shusei bears the power of Kami no Me (God's Eyes), a clairvoyance which grants him the power to "see through all" as long as it exists in this world. Outwardly, Shusei is calm, a tad cynical and blunt and doesn't talk much about himself, though he is generally nice towards the people around him. He puts up a wall of indifference, polite smiles and deadpan faces, and very rarely lets it crack. While inside he's far from as emotionless as he presents himself to be, he's still an expert at keeping a serious face. Despite this, he is loyal and would rather die than sell out his comrades, but can be stubborn to a fault. Shusei lacks self worth, which sometimes gets the better of him as when he skips meals, and claims he has no appetite.

And I meant that both literally and figuratively, so don't think about trying to pick me up. Thank you. Tentacle sex? No. A radioactive lake of my own? I’m touched, emotionally, mind you, but no. Neither am I curious about what the swamp looks like from below the surface. The state of it can be seen perfectly from here. Plus, humans cannot breathe underwater, another reason we aren't compatible. Like, King Kong with a gorilla as the heroine and a giant girl as the bad guy - that's cool. Even if the gorilla is purple. And having it set in a summer camp is kind of interesting. But then you've got this really random set change to a corn field for a few scenes before they're all back in a swamp. That has a carnival. Seriously, that doesn't even make sense. And then there's the final scene on top of a ferris wheel. I mean, falling in love isn't actually literal. Are you really sure Marcy's gonna be able to catch you?
Actually, forget I said anything. I really don't know what I'm talking about. I mean, I just barely started acting six months ago. It'll be great. If I didn't have to head back home, I'd definitely come and see it, but I've got to ace these last few exams. You get it, right? Mei, the canon emphasized how clever she was (it's mentioned twice) and tactical, but I didn't see either of these traits in the app itself. I think that might have been what she was going for through being nice to Marcy, but then that contradicts the compassionate side she's supposed to have. So, I guess I didn't get what I was expecting from it.
Shusei, the app is entirely off-screen conversations, and it's difficult for me to tell what his voice actually is as a result of this. I didn't really see a cynical yet calm character; instead, I saw someone somewhat baffled by the situation. I had a very clear image of him from the canon (which was really well written), but I was a little confused when I got to the app.
