Character: Kumon Kaito
Series: Kamen Rider Gaim
Character Age: 20~21
Canon: Throughout Zawame City, street dancers have set up their own sort of law using infamous Lockseeds that can summon monsters call Inves. By battling the Inves against each other, they obtain higher rankings for their teams on the internet. However, it’s not all fun and games because soon they find out that the nefarious Yggrdrasil Corporation is behind the distribution of these Lockseeds, as well as the belts that allow individuals to transform to battle these Inves. However, it no longer becomes a contest to see who’s on top via the internet; it becomes a contest to see who’ll survive as they’re thrown into a battle for their lives as well as humanity itself.
Kumon Kaito is your typical brooding alpha male and the leader of Team Baron. While he has an air of controlled fierceness about him, he’s able to channel that to help put his team on top. However, the one thing he truly craves is absolute power. He sees true strength as stamping down and manipulating the weak, while constantly striving to be the best. Even though he holds a strong hatred against Yggdrasil, he acknowledges that their way is a path he wants to undertake himself . . . so he can destroy them. Despite this way of thinking, he has a strong sense of honor and he despises cheating to win. And while he has no problems doing what he thinks needs to be done to maintain true strength, he does care for his own team, as well as small children and sometimes even his rivals.
Sample Entry:
Tell us about yourself in a few words. What’s the point of this? I’m Kumon Kaito. You don’t need to know anything more than that unless you have something to offer besides a giant squid to fight. Yes, I’m aware that she has ten arms but she fails to use them properly in a fight; I thought it’d take more work but it was too easy. So don’t think such a cheap fight will interest me.
I have bigger fish to fry.
Why are you joining our happy community? I’m not. As with every group, there’s a balance of power that shifts depending on who becomes the strongest. The one who stands on top will have the power to dictate what those lower in status can or can’t do. That’s why there’s no point in joining, not when I plan on leading rather than following.
Why are you a valuable asset to this camp? Asset? What asset? I’m not going to play that sort of childish game because it doesn’t concern me. I’m not here to make friends or help anyone out. I’m here on a personal matter that has nothing to do with your camp. It’s merely pure luck that your camp holds the person I’m looking for, that’s all. I don’t need help finding him either, but when I do he has a lot of explaining to do.
What do you expect from the campers here? I expect nothing. I’ve seen them limping about, dragging their feet behind them while they moan about their lack of intelligence. They’re like this because they have no structure and no leader to show them the path. The Director doesn’t count seeing as she hasn’t shown her face for years. If she can’t lead properly then she’s not worth anyone’s time.
What do you expect from the counselors? Poor management considering they don’t know how to motivate those under their rule. If you’re the strongest, you have to learn how to beat those below you back into submission.
Do you have any deep personal traumas you might inexplicably be compelled to share in this questionnaire? Please describe. No. Throwing a Linkin Park CD at me won’t help you either. So move onto the next question.
If there was a good dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why? That’s the kind of pathetic question only a weakling would be able to answer. And the ideals of a weak person won’t save anyone.
Do you have a five year plan in mind? It wouldn’t take me five years to achieve what I wish to do in this place. If you want results, you have to fight for them. If you want change, you have to take the future into your own hands. If it’s done right then the results should be acquired quickly. That’s why I’ll show you all how a real leader rises to the top. Power, control, utter domination-- these are things that are well within my grasp and I’ll knock aside any of those who choose to stand in my way. Once I do, I’ll change even fate itself.
If you could choose to bring three objects to a desert island, what would you bring and why? Nothing. If you want to survive on a desert island you’re going to have to be able to survive based on your own strength, intelligence and instinct. If you can’t do that much then you should expire where you stand.
Character: Ahim de Famille
Series: Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
Character Age: ~18
Canon: During the Legend War, Earth found itself on the verge of destruction at the hands of the evil Space Empire Zangyack. To stop the invaders, Earth's 34 Super Sentai teams banded together and managed to end the assault at the cost of losing their powers. Those powers scattered throughout space in the form of small items called Ranger Keys. Enter the Gokaigers, a mismatched, ragtag group of space pirates who travel through space in search of the keys and use the power they receive from them in attempt to reach their common goal: to find the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. This goal brings the Gokaigers to Earth, but things aren't as simple as they seem. In order to find it, they must also obtain each of the previous 34 Super Sentai teams' Grand Power as proof that they're worthy of the treasure. What's a pirate crew to do? The answer is simple: do whatever it takes to get what they want ... even if it means saving some backwater planet in the middle of space-nowhere.
Ahim is the last remaining member of the Planet Famille's royal family. She managed to escape before her planet was destroyed by Zangyack, and when she came across the Gokaigers elsewhere in space, she all but begged them to take her as their fifth member. Due to her princess upbringing Ahim tends to speak very politely and formally, and acts in a loving, motherly fashion. She generally plays the role of peacekeeper among the Gokaigers--she's easily the most level-headed of the group in spite of a few ditzy yet well-meaning mishaps here and there. She's very cheerful and almost always has a kind or encouraging word for someone, but don't let the pep fool you: she will not take abuse from anyone and she has zero problems expressing her dislike for things or people. Of the Gokaigers she's the weakest in terms of fighting skills and strength and she's very aware of it, however, she's incredibly hard-working and will use perceived weaknesses to her advantage, e.g. acting dumb or playing the damsel in distress in order to protect a person.

Tell us about yourself in a few words.
I am Ahim de Famille of the former Planet Famille; first daughter of the king and heiress to the throne. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! Ah, I suppose I should say something else here; it seems so egotistical to introduce myself with only that. I am afraid my past is a rather long and depressing tale; I would not want to take up too much of your time. The present is much more simple: I am a pirate travelling aboard the ship GokaiGalleon. There is little else that should need to be said to that end.
Why are you joining our happy community?
It is so very lovely here in this clearly French, uniquely dystopian village. Is all of France this way? I seem to recall seeing the name around this area on a map of Earth, and I should like to explore more when the opportunity arises! That being said, I had heard a rumor that Ranger Keys had been found in the area. As of yet, I have been unable to locate any ... perhaps it was a false lead. We Gokaigers have unfortunately come across many of those. Still, I suppose it could not hurt to continue searching. You would not have happened to find any key-shaped objects recently, would you? They are roughly the length of my hand, and can be many different colors. I prefer the pink ones, myself. They are very cute! "Mrrrghhh"? Does that mean "no" in your language? Oh, never mind; it is quite all right.
Have you committed any crimes you were or should have been convicted from?
This is, perhaps, a strange question to ask an admitted pirate. What could be considered a crime, and to whom would the crime be against? We Gokaigers oppose the Space Empire Zangyack. We have destroyed their ships, ransacked their supplies, and have been naught but a nuisance to them. One does not simply go against an empire so vast without becoming a target. Zangyack has long since placed bounties on our heads--I seem to recall mine was recently increased to four million zagins. Silly, is it not? To one side, we would be considered heroes. To the other, enemies. To whom does the decision whether something is "right" or "wrong" belong? Where must the line be drawn? Ooooh ... let us please continue to the next question.
Can you perform a flawless headshot? If not, and if your life depended on it, how many hours a week would you be willing to spend on the shooting range?
Pray tell, why should this be a necessary question? The others are much more adept, though I have spent a great amount of time in target practice. I am still but a fledgling where those abilities are concerned. If I do not wish to be a burden to my captain and my crew, I must continue to strive for perfection. I should care for them as they have cared for me. I will not let them down.
So, really, why the hell would a princess become a pirate?
Ahaha~ It seems so long ago I was asked something similar by those who are now close friends. To answer: In order to send a message to any who may have survived the destruction of my planet. By actively and openly opposing Zangyack as a pirate, I will be able to show my people that I have not given, and will not give up. I wish to tell them that we shall rise once more, to inspire strength and courage enough to allow them to continue on until that day. It is my duty, after all, to be a princess they will be able to rely on in both good times and bad.
Any closing comments?
I thank you for your time, and wish you a fair day. I shall take my leave of this interview, and return to the Galleon once I have found whether or not the keys are truly here.
