Canon: In an anachronistic Europe, a scientist created a breed of super humans known as the Black Roses before mysteriously vanishing, leaving the Black Roses without any guidance and support. With the ability to turn ordinary people into monsters, the Black Roses soon became a threat to humanity and a special division was created in order to destroy them: the Crimson Shell. Heading this military unit is a special brand of super human, a girl named Claudia who is the key to mankind's survival.
Shion Liddell is a new member of the Crimson Shell. Naive, young and easily flustered, he does not seem to be the kind of person suitable for fighting and killing monsters. Kind and gentle, he easily makes a place for himself among his colleagues quickly. However, the truth is, “Shion Liddell” is a facade created in order to infiltrate the Crimson Shell unit and destroy them. That being said, he tends to slip up occasionally. Created to be the leader of the Black Roses, Shion is bitter and vindictive towards all humans who have willingly hurt his family and ready to do whatever it takes to protect them. Cruel and manipulative, Shion can maneuver himself out of the worst situations imaginable. Mess with Shion and he’ll have you for dinner. Literally.

Why are you joining our happy community?
Didn’t I already answer this...? N-No, I wasn’t trying to be rude, honest! Well, if I had to answer to why, it’s because my superiors sent me here to do chores. I think they were just trying to get me out of the way, to be honest, but I’ll do my best to assist this happy community! Even if it could use a better name.
What do you expect from the campers here?
Hmm... I expect to make lots of friends! Isn’t that what these summer camps are about? Having fun and making friends? I’m sure there must be some lovely people here! I could always use some friends. They’re such a resourceful group to have around in times of need! Especially when you’re hungry.
What do you expect from the counselors?
I suppose I expect them to be very useful as well. After all, adults who can’t be useful are pitiful creatures, are they not? Hopefully, they won’t be~.
Do you consider yourself to be squeamish?
...Yes. It’s very shameful, I know, I’m truly sorry.
Would you be able to dispose of the flesh of the undead? How?
W-What kind of question is that?! How can you ask something like that of me?! It’s really rude.... But if I really have to answer, I’m trained in the ways of disposing flesh of the undead. We can’t have monsters like that lying around now, can we? I normally just dump them in the river. I’m sure we have some kind of dumping ground for undead monsters here.
Is family important to you?
Family is important to everyone, even the family you’re not bound to by blood. If you forsake your family, you forsake everything about yourself. You can never take family for granted. Once you do, you’ll never get them back. At least, that’s how I feel about it. If other people feel differently … I don’t want anything to do with them.
Are you lying on your previous answer?
I consider that to be very insulting and I would prefer it if you didn’t go in that direction, thank you ♥!
Why are you a valuable asset to Camp?
I am extremely valuable because I can adapt to any situation imaginable! At least, I try to!

Character: Saejima Kouga | Garo: The Golden Knight
Series: Garo | Garo: Makai Senki
Character Age: 25
Job: Horror Instructor
Canon: The world is very chaotic and full of the horror of Horrors, but there is an ancient order called the Makai that exists to save people from those monsters. The order has existed for centuries and is separated into three parts. The Senate, where the orders come from, Makai Knights and Makai Priests who receive those orders. Makai knights are the fighters of this group; they fight against evil and Horrors to protect the peace and save lives. Horrors are monsters that manifest from the darkness found within the hearts of humanity. They either possess or they hunt down humans as their prey, devouring them in many different ways depending on what kind of Horror it is. Despite Makai priests being able to fight, Makai Knights are the only ones able to fight against, seal and destroy them. Along with the harsh training they undergo, they are forged into living weapons with their summonable armor and swords made of soul metal.
Saejima Kouga is a solemn man who holds the title of the strongest Makai Knight: Garo. Even other Makai knights know of him and his strength. Kouga, since being a child, has spent his time training hard to follow in the footsteps of his father. Because he has spent most of his time training and being cloistered in his mansion, he gets very little exposure to the outside world and doesn’t understand a lot of interactions between people. This causes him to grow up to be a loner. This of course worsens when his father is killed in battle right in front of his eyes.; He becomes even more closed off from the world and singlemindedly devotes himself to fighting Horrors and saving people’s lives. He is also very formal and strict, wearing a deadpan expression in every situation instead of showing his true emotion to other people. However, despite how cold he seems to act, he cares deeply for the sanctity of human life as well as the people he has slowly gathered to his side.

My name is Saejima Kouga. I live in a mansion with my butler Gonza and sometimes Kaoru stays over at times. I have an unorthodox job, but I feel that it does good in this world and I do it willingly and with a determined focus. Like a firefighter, I try to protect and save the lives that are in danger. There is nothing else I would rather do.

I am not. I was sent a notice from my employer that there were pressing matters in this camp. So I applied to take up a position that seemed to suit my desires. Reading this over, it seems that I was wrong to use stealth. This is a camp for young Makai Knights to receive their training. So for now I will be your resident Horror Instructor.
What if there was a crisis involving the end of the world? What would you do? Please explain.
If there was to be a crisis involving the end of the world, I would fight. I would gather to me my comrades and we would take on whatever is attacking or causing the crisis. Alone we might be unsuccessful but together we may have a chance of saving everyone. Although I normally like fighting alone, if I had to for the greater good, I would fight with my comrades side by side and back to back.
Would you be able to dispose of the flesh of the undead? How?
The most traditional method to dispose of a dead body is to use fire. However, most Horrors do not leave behind a corpse. They devour people and leave nothing behind, not even bones.
If there was a good dog and a criminal both hanging from a cliff and you could only save one, which would you save and why?
Both deserve to live. A human’s life is worth more, but that does not necessary mean the dog’s life is unimportant. So I would find a way to save both somehow because every life matters no matter the type of person or animal they are.
Do you have a five year plan in mind?
I plan to fight against Horrors until I die. Battle is what I am used to and fighting Horrors is what I have devoted my life to doing.
If you could choose to bring three objects to a desert island, what would you bring and why?
My sword, so I could summon my armor. My madoubi, so I could figure out if a Horror is masquerading as a human. And a carafe of water.
What is your job here at CFUD? What do you think that means?
I am to be your resident Horror Instructor. I imagine this means I will train young boys in the way of the Makai Knight. It would help add to our forces because there are never enough Makai Knights to fight against Horrors.
